The Trip That Inspired Us To Buy!
By our trip in January of 2020, we had already visited Casa De Campo several times, our wedding being the primary reason why. This trip was significant because it sparked the idea, that this didn’t have to only be a vacation, it could be an opportunity to be apart of the community that we’ve grown to love.
Prior to this trip, we’d only stayed in villas or booked rooms directly with the hotel. Renting an apartment in Los Altos was a completely new experience, and let me tell you, we instantly felt right at home. This spacious two-bedroom apartment was perfect, it had everything that we needed and more.
We found ourselves walking around Los Altos Apartments in Casa De Campo, feeling like we’ve always lived in this exclusive condo community. The beautiful buildings are surrounded by tons of trees and exotic flowers. The views of Dye Fore Golf Course are spectacular, as well as the perfectly landscaped grounds around it which are great for meditating or yoga. Each section has its own dedicated pool, jacuzzi, and bbq area, in addition to a gym that’s centrally located. The best part is that it’s all within walking distance to the Los Altos de Chavon section of Casa De Campo.

Los Altos de Chavon in Casa De Campo is where, the famous church overlooking the Chavon River, Saint Stanislaus Church, is located as well as the renown Amphitheatre. In Los Altos de Chavon you can also find various restaurants, cafes, bars, and a few shops.
As for enjoying all of the other wonderful aspects of Casa de Campo, everything is literally within a 15-minute drive from the apartments in Los Altos. It’s an 8-minute drive to the marina where you’ll find more restaurants, a supermarket, movie theater, shops and even a pharmacy. A 12-minute drive will get you to Minitas Beach, 14-minutes to the Casa de Campo Hotel Lobby or the Shooting Center.

On our most recent trip in December of 2020, during the Covid Pandemic, we decided to rent another apartment in Los Altos. This was when we put it out into the universe and started putting intention behind our goals. We began talking to realtors, viewed several listings, and started to learn about the buying process in the Dominican Republic.
Finally, after all of the hard work, here we are, ready to share our apartment. We hope that you too will share our love for Casa De Campo.
